Regina Spektor - "Samson"............everything about this song I love. The sultry piano, her quirky and spot on voice, the eclectic lyrics. I have to resist putting just that song on repeat for the entire day . . .
Jane Monheit - "The Folks Who Live On The Hill"..............I know I've mentioned this golden-throated woman before, but I have to mention her again. She weaves in and out of a pure sweet voice and a smoky jazz voice with skill and agility. I could easily listen to her all day. She's also teamed up with a group of fabulous jazz musicians . . . which just makes for the perfect song / album.

The new trend in "steam bag" items in the freezer section. Thank you thank you for making them plain so I can season on my own.
The weather. Aside from the fact that we need a bit more rain . . . this summer has been absolutely delightful. Cooler weather, warmer weather . . . I love it all, and I'll take it all . . . especially with the days of pure delight that we've had. The sunsets have been stunning, the lake breezes refreshing, and the endless skies just stunning.

Etsy is so divine. I'm really digging that green shirt. I don't know that it'd look so hot on me, but X'd wear it well.
My husband and I want new, meaningful wedding bands. I plan to bum around Etsy and see if I can find someone to make custom ones there. I think it's a good place to look.

@soNOTcool - J, the beauty about a shirt like that . . . is that you and X may not wear it exactly the same . . . but it will look stunning on both of you.
I am doing well . . . slowly fixing a few things in my life . . and trying to get back in the habit of posting semi-regularly. I know, further on down the road, I'll regret the times I didn't post when I should have.
I still stalk you regularly. *grin* And can I say what a relief it is to know that your kitchen looks JUST like mine does right now.
How often do you clean your Sigg bottles? I need to find some of those tablets . . .

I clean the bottles each time that we use them, but I don't use the tablets every time ... only if they've been sitting without getting cleaned for a while. I recently bought the Sigg cleaning brushes, so I use those with soapy water and that works great.
@soNOTcool - lol . . . sorry I should have said how often do you clean them with the tablets. I have a soft bottle brush (as I have an addiction to water bottles) that I use . . . works really well with my Sigg bottle. But I think a good cleaning with those tablets (say . . a couple times a month?) would really do it good. I love my Sigg bottle . . .
I got mine from Delight.com . . . have you been there? They have some pretty nifty things . . .
i love the two blouses. i'm with jodi, thinking i couldn't wear the green one, but i bet the red one would look good on me.

She has a bunch of different colors for the ring . . I love them all. But I'm drawn to that lime green color . . .

Mmm I am trying so hard to stop shopping right now unless there is something I really NEED. (Like a pair of perfect dancer's quality tights that don't make me feel fat - for the coming fall weather, and a basic black skirt) That ring makes me want to rewrite the definition of need though.
I'm so addicted to etsy right now. Love the ring.
